Zhou Jiehao, originally trained in industrial design, found his true passion in woodworking after being invited to apprentice by his instructor. Along with his partner, Zhai Yujia, he creates functional woodware that blends creativity, surprise, and humor. His unique approach to woodturning, using eccentric (off-center) turning, results in fluid, dynamic forms that invite viewers to see new perspectives.
